HK-47

Anyone know this thing?

whatever~ I find this character to be quite funny and a good comic relief in Star Wars universe (in Knights Of The Old Republic). Some of its quotes:

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds."
HK-47
A strange behavior- well, its an assassin droid after all.

another quote:

Conclusion: Still there was a brief moment where I felt like I almost understood why some meatbags choose peace and friendship over a high-powered blaster carbine.

He characteristically uses the term "meatbag" when speaking of organic lifeforms, especially humans. You would have to consider whether to consider this as an insult or not. I consider so by the way

anyway, you can read a lot more about this particular character at http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/HK-47

The mobile upheaval

In the recent years, the small gadgets known as mobile phones or cell phones have become a common sight. during my elementary days, such items were rare, or more precisely- expensive (very) to obtain. i remembered being in awe when i get to touch such gadgets, thinking " i will have this when i grow up" but now, the advancement of technology has made those wish obsolete.

These days, cell phones which is lighter and more affordable are available and the old classic gadgets of my childhood days have become less desirable. However, one cannot simply forget and discard the idea of it being "nostalgic". I am sure everyone would feel such sentiment every now and then :P.

Now maybe i'll head over to phone shops or anywhere where i can feed my eyes with the sight of such antiques--- NOT! simply google in the web and some pictures ought to pop-up
